Do you ever want a hacking job but also want to do an honest job? You can do both of these at the same time by means of being an ethical hacker. You can study and learn the basics of ethical hacking by attending training at an ATC (Accredited Training Center) that provides Ethical Hacker Courses.
Project Managers Singapore: If one would wish to be a good project manager he can go through a Project Management Professional Training Program and ethical hacker courses.
Ethical hacking, which is also referred to as penetration testing or intrusion testing, is the method by which an ethical hacker tries to gain access to computer networks and computer systems with all the intention of discovering and fixing computer security weaknesses and vulnerabilities. Ethical hackers make use of the same techniques as their malicious counterparts, but recognize and report problems instead of exploiting and taking advantage of them. An ethical hacker is sometimes referred to as white hat hacker which literally means good guy and then a malicious hacker is referred to as black hat hacker which means the opposite, bad guy.
One may be certified as an ethical hacker. Certification is achieved by taking the C/EH examination after having attended training at an Accredited Training Center or through self-study. If a candidate self-studied, he should fill out an application and submit a proof that he had two years of relevant information security work experience. The exam code for C/EH is 312-50. Since June 2011, the certification is in Version 7.1 but the new version V8 has recently been launched. The v7 and v8 exam costs 500 US dollars and is administered through computer at an EC-Council Accredited Training Center.
The International Council of Electronic Commerce Consultants (EC-Council) presents numerous certifications in many different IT security fields, including protected programming, disaster recovery, penetration testing, and common IT security knowledge. Its most excellent certification is known as Certified Ethical Hacker.
The EC-Council offers another certification recognized as Certified Network Defense Architect (C/NDA). This certification is designed for United States Government Agencies, and is offered only to members of selected agencies. Other than the title, the content of the course is precisely the same.
